Micro CHP - Gas Fired Micro Combined Heat & Power

A recent development has been to combined a gas boiler with your own electric generator. These appliances are now available. Whilst the boiler is working to heat your home, it can also provide 1kW of electricity. You can use this electricity or you can sell this back to the Grid for 10p / kWH. These boilers are particularly suitable to old properties where the boiler is run for longer periods such as pre 1900 housing stock with solid walls.
