Project Summary
Following an initial Energy Performance Certificate survey being carried out on the farmhouse at Manor Park Farm it was deemed that a total of 65,503 kWh would be required from the Blake Ecotec Biomass solution.
The ETA PE-K Wood Pellet 45kW Boiler we installed is a robust, long-life boiler suitable for heating larger buildings.
Flexible positioning with pneumatic pellet feed from a remote store the solution automatically feeds pellets to the boiler in only 10 minutes.
A 5.7 ” ETA Touch screen system is easy to understand and the entire solution is remotely operational via Smart phone.
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)
Manor Park Farm's boiler configuration included a Pellet Boiler, Thermal Store and Pellet Store. Our solution was compliant within the 7 year Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.
Mr. Rothwell will receive RHI payments of 12.2p per kWh through submitting quarterly meter readings to OFGEM. The scheme will earn £61,233.54 over 7 years and when this is added to the estimated fuel cost savings that will reach £14,017.93, the installation will gain a total of £75,251.47.
The RHI payments and the fuel cost savings made will see the initial outlay paid off in just 3-4 years.
