Following a very early start and drive to London, our Sales and Marketing Managers, Rob Fuge and Michael Skidmore spent Thursday March 5th at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre to attend the annual Ecobuild exhibition. The three-day event has become one the biggest global expos for build environment and sustainable construction products.
More than 1,300 exhibitors, over 100 free seminars and 600 highly regarded speakers make EcoBuild a 'must-see' event for those involved and interested in sustainable design and construction and a popular networking exercise for firms operating in the Renewable Heat sector.
We were very happy to be able to spend time catching up with some of our long term colleagues and partners. In between chats with the team at Eco Angus and our friends at Galu we also had time to listen to an interesting seminar on Renewables in the Green Energy Theatre.
The remaining hours of the day, before the long drive home, were spent walking the exhibition and seeking out new potential partners to do business with. Some interesting conversations were had with a number of solution manufactures, which only bodes will for the future. With the RHI tariff reductions recently announced, the Government's Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) lounge was also a hub of activity and a source of great information.
We would like to thank EcoBuild and those exhibitors we met for their hospitality on what was a very interesting and enjoyable day. We are already looking forward to the 2016 exhibition.
