The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have announced that, from April 1st 2015, the degression 'Super Trigger' for biomass solutions has been passed.
The current Domestic biomass tariff of 10.98p per kWh will now be reduced by 20% to 8.93p per kWh. Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) tariff will be reduced by 15% to 5.87p per kWh.
The revised tariff will apply to all applications received on or after this date.
The tariffs for air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps and solar thermal are not affected by the 1 April 2015 degression, neither are legacy applicants.
